Watch Golf Course Falcon Watch 27 hole championship course, located inside the Kings Point area of Sun City Center, is a Ron Garl designed inspiration. The Challenge, The Cypress and The Sands; the names aptly describe what you can expect to encounter along the way when you play Falcon Watch. The Challenge nine, on the very first hole, has you shooting from an elevated tee onto a fairway with water hazards on both sides. It is 360 yards from the white tees to the green. A dog leg to the right, and if the water doesn't get you the sand might. Playing it safe might be the word to the wise on number one of the Challenge nine. The number nine par four features an elevated green with water on two sides. Put it on the green when you are shooting for home or bring an extra ball...you're likely to need it. The Sands nine...what more can we say. Sand is everywhere along the way so keep that Sand Wedge handy. While you're there, check out the par three number seven hole. Par three only if you drop it on the green but doing so causes you to flirt with big trouble on the left in the form of water six feet below the walled green and fall away slopes on the right. Anyway way you play it is risky. Going for birdie, missing par and walking away with a bogey on this short 120 yard sleeper is real easy. Just a year ago all the greens on The Cypress nine were rebuilt. Evidence of the high level of commitment to maintaining the excellence of these courses. The par five signature hole is number nine. Avoiding the water on the right without going into the sand on the left is the challenge. The well bunkered green requires precision landing in order to save par. From the white tees it is 520 yards to the pin. Contact Us about Falcon Watch Golf Course. |
